Who Is Hypericon?

Who are these people anyway?

Hypericon is organized and operated by an all-vounteer staff and board of directors, as the primary project focus of Frontiers Nashville – a non-profit corporation in Nashville, Tennessee. Our team is comprised of those who incorporate the media and culture of our event into their daily lives just like the fans who join in our convention each year. “By fans and for fans.” – That’s our method.

Among the Board of Directors of Frontiers Nashville, you’ll find four current or former convention chairs and staff, a variety of nonprofit experience, creatives, community leaders, and subject-matter experts. Within our convention staff, you’ll find the most experienced folks in Nashville fandom and conventions. Co-founders of MTAC (Middle TN Anime Convention) and Xanadu, the creator of GMX (Geek Media Expo), representatitves of various fan groups and other community organizations – they’re all here.

This spectrum of knowledge and proven success is one of our most important advantages. It is, after all, our people who drive us. They’re an amazing group, and we can’t wait for you to meet them all!
