Gaming Guest of Honor, Jamie Chambers

Jamie Chambers was born in Atlanta and grew up running around barefoot in the pine forests and kudzu fields of north Georgia. The son of a Trekkie and an early D&D player, Jamie was doomed early to a life of geeky pursuits. He began playing roleplaying games at the age of seven and writing his own fiction at eight.

He spent his youth reading fantasy and science fiction, flipping through comics, watching cartoons, and playing any game he could get his hands on — video games, board games, card games, and especially role playing games such as Dungeons & Dragons. Eventually he became an online volunteer for TSR, Inc. while the Internet was in its infancy and became involved with the RPGA (Role Playing Game Association) as a club president and convention coordinator. He went onto create best-selling and award-winning tie-ins to fantasy novels and popular entertainment.

After a lifetime of creating (and playing) games, as well as writing (and reading) stories, Jamie launched Signal Fire Studios to create game and entertainment products. He’s had stories, game products, and articles published by many companies and is pursuing creative writing projects for publication—having recently published the newest incarnation of the Metamorphosis Alpha Roleplaying Game.

Jamie lives in north Georgia with two huge dogs, a beautiful woman, and a blended family filled with wonderfully geeky children.

Ginger Oh Snap

Ginger Oh Snap is a costumer, model, cosplay entertainer, and burlesque performer based in Nashville, TN. She discovered cosplay in high school when she landed her first gig as a juggling fairy with a local Renaissance faire. As a fabricator, Ginger specializes in textiles, but also enjoys building armor and props from thermoplastics, creating and styling wigs, and weathering things within an inch of their life.

Over the years, Ginger has grown a successful business in the cosplay community, creating custom costumes, props, and adorable geeky things that are available for purchase online and at conventions, Her intricate and accurate costumes have won both awards and acclaim (for herself and clients), and she has been invited to appear as a Guest, Panelist, Judge, Performer and Host to conventions and events all across the country.

Alongside Ms. Pepper Potts, Ginger was honored to accompany the legendary Stan Lee during his Grand Marshall ride in the Dragon Con Parade in 2017 – cosplaying together as one of  “Spidey’s Leading Ladies” – MJ.

Ginger is a self-proclaimed fantasy and sci-fi obsessing, video game loving, D&D playing, friend of canon who is most likely just a bunch of cats in a costume and is so excited to be a part of Hypericon!

Ms Pepper Potts

She has created and crafted over 100 costumes for herself, friends, and clients over the past 10 years. Pepper fell in love with cosplay when she went to her very first anime convention, MTAC, and eventually auditioned and was selected for MTAC’s sister convention, GMX, as a “GMX Girl” Xia.

She has been sought after as a judge and participant in a number of cosplay contests, and most recently won the honor of riding alongside the Dragon Con Parade 2017 Grand Marshall, Stan Lee, as Gwen Stacy in as one of “Spidey’s Leading Ladies.”

When Pepper is not working on costumes she loves to dance and play with her energetic and adorable corgi, Rocket. She enjoys attending an increasing number of conventions, meeting new cosplayers of all skill levels, and learning new techniques to improve her cosplay even more.
